I don't see much activity on here ?
Submitted by trevalex on Fri, 12/11/2009 - 22:22
I am sure I am not the only person who works all week and cannot attend meetings pop down to review plans etc. Is this the only forum to voice opinions exchange ideas ? I currently interested in the proposal to replace the boiler and windows in the estate. Trev |

IS THIS THE ONLY FORUM?
No, it's not!! We didn't see much activity either, so we're getting active ourselves!! Sorry if you didn't get an invite through your letter-box to
EastendHomes Leaseholders & Freeholders Association (EEHLFA) - GLAMIS LAUNCH EVENT - 7pm Glamis Community Hall, Monday 14th December
Also EEHLFA ST GEORGES LAUNCH EVENT - 7pm OAP Club, St Georges Estate, Wednesday 16th December
Hope to see you at one or other of these meetings - you'll be able to share views/opinions/ideas with leaseholders from Glamis, St Georges and other EeH estates who are also interested to know more about major works charges that will soon be hitting us all!
Would you like to see the return of the 10K cap? Would you like to see a proper dispute resolution structure in place, so that we don't all have to fight our own individual battles about unreasonable and unjustified service charges?
Would you like to see EeH finally catching up with the times and taking on board that bullying, threatening and victimizing people is no way to deliver a service to them? And that we can actually expect and demand transparency, accountability and respect from those we pay to manage our housing?
These are all covered in EEHLFA's manifesto - we have begun to organise to change things for the better for all EeH residents - come and tell us what you think needs to be done and how you can help us get there!
This meetings are all well
This meetings are all well and good for those that can make it for 7pm. But my job means I rarely can..
I'd really like to see an online forum that I can share my thoughts on and also provide help towards.
I am an IT professional and built and maintained a few websites in my time.,, If help is need to make an easy to use accessible site then let me know
Meeting Time
Hi Anonymous.
If you contact me on eastendhomesla@aol.com. We are based in Island Gardens & started the first Leaseholder Ass which has now grown to cover all 5 estates.
We are always looking for help & new commitee members - we need a Website.
If you can't attend meetings that's fine. you can become involved in other ways. My members many can't make meeting but are kept up todate with newsletters via email. For those not on email we deliver a leaflet so they know all about the progress we are making.
If you are on another estate I can pass you details on the the board member.
