Tenant Services Authority - see the movie

The Tenant Services Authority was set up as a result of the 2008 Housing and Regeneration Act. The Act increases the TSA’s powers over the regulation of social housing.

This is what the TSA have to say about themselves and their national conversation....

"The National Conversation is your chance to tell us what services are most important to you as a tenant of a housing association, council, co-op or ALMO. This will help us set standards that will make sure your landlord gives you excellent service. Take part by filling out a questionnaire, going to an event in your area or by holding your own event".

The job of the TSA -

The job of the TSA - according to their website is to regulate the work of housing associations to ensure that they are well run, financially stable and provide high-quality services to tenants.

TSA UNABLE to deal with complaints about EastendHomes

Following residents' complaints to TSA regarding EastendHomes apparent failure to adhere to stipulated requirements around the 'Retirement' of Tenant Board Members and the appointment of a leaseholder as an Independent Board Member, TSA has replied that it is a Regulator and not a Supervisor. As a consequence, it cannot provide further assistance.
It seems that with this excuse TSA has justified itself for not wishing to get involved..
