Olympic Flame reaches Tower Hamlets

last modified  20/07/2012 11:00 AM

Tomorrow (Saturday 21st July) the Olympic Torch Relay will reach Tower Hamlets as it completes the final legs of the journey around the UK.

The route through the borough passes adjacent to several EastendHomes estates, including the Bede, Eric and British estates in Mile End, and the Holland estate in Aldgate. Particularly lucky are the residents of Buttermere House and Tracy House on Mile End Road, who will be able to see the torch pass directly outside of their homes.

See the full route being taken through the borough, including scheduled times, on the LBTH website here.

If you'll be out to welcome the flame this Saturday, why not send your photos in to us at, and we'll look to publish the best of them in our next newsletter.
