Our Annual Report to Tenants gets top marks

last modified  28/03/2011 09:00 AM

The production of an annual report to Tenants is now a regulatory requirement for all housing associations.

The Tenant Services Authority (TSA) commissioned an independent assessment of Reports to Tenants, carried out by the National Tenants Associations (TPAS, TAROE, Confederation of Co-Operative Housing and Federation of Tenant Management Organisations).

Out of 259 reports assessed nationally, only four were “rated highly” with a maximum score - one of which was EastendHomes.

The TSA will be running a number of learning events, using EastendHomes (and the other) Reports to Tenants as examples of good practice.

Bernie Cameron, Vice Chair of EastendHomes and TPAS Tenant of the Year said that he was delighted with this recognition, which demonstrates EastendHomes’ commitment to working with tenants and providing better services and ways of engagement.
