Road changes during the Olympics

last modified  16/07/2012 09:00 AM

During the Olympics period, widespread changes to London's road network are being introduced through the Olympic Road Network (ORN) and later the smaller Paralympic Road Network (PRN). This includes the introduction of Games Lanes, which will be restricted for the use of athletes and Olympic Games officials, as well as emergency vehicles.

There will be a direct impact for EastendHomes residents on the St George's and Glamis estates as The Highway forms part of the Olympic Road Network. However all residents are likely to see an impact as traffic is spread across other routes and congestion is likely to be caused across a wide area.

EastendHomes is aiming to continue to run our responsive repairs service as normally as possible during the Games period, but please bear in mind that our contractors will be making journeys across the borough and beyond, and that some impact is likely.

For more information on travelling around London during the Games period, including the impacts on public transport and alternative options for getting around, visit www.GetAheadoftheGames.com.
