Twenty seven EastendHomes estate service staff have completed an NVQ in Cleaning and Support Services Level 2.
Training and assessment was facilitated by Telford College who ran the scheme as part of a free government initiative, “Train to Gain”, to promote a skilled and professional workforce. The course was run on site, incorporating the cleaners daily working routine into the assessment process so that the service being provided to residents was not disrupted and went on getting better and better.
EastendHomes Chief Executive, Paul Bloss, congratulated the participants for their successful completion of the course at an award ceremony on 16 September 2008.
